B.J. Penn open to five round bout with Nick Diaz at UFC 137, says UFC hasn't approached him about it yet

Nick Diaz's manager Cesar Gracie laid out a challenge to B.J. Penn on Tuesday to turn their now-main event bout at UFC 137 into a five round non-title fight. He said that it was on Penn to accept the terms after he said Dana White and the UFC were willing to make that change.

On Wednesday, Penn responded during a conference call for the event, and said he'd be more than willing to go five rounds with Diaz. However, he said that it's a job for him and he'd like to be paid accordingly for making that change. Penn also said he had not gotten a call from the UFC or Dana White or anyone about changing the fight to a five round bout, so as far as he knows the fight is still as originally scheduled.
