BELLATOR NEWS: Season four featherweight quarterfinals kick off at Bellator 37, matchups now set

Bellator's season four featherweight tournament will kick off on March 19 at Bellator 37 from the Lucky Star Casino in Concho, Okla., according to a report from Sherdog.com.

The season four pairings are set, and all eight competitors will be in action.

The first round of the tournament will feature Georgi Karakhanyan vs. Patricio "Pitbull" Freire, Zac George against Wilson Reis, Eric Larkin vs. Kenny Foster and Daniel Straus vs. Nazareno Malegarie.

The tournament winner will earn $100,000 for their efforts, along with a shot at Bellator Featherweight Champion Joe Warren in season five.

Penick's Analysis: These are all really solid fights for the opening round of the tournament. "Pitbull" and Reis have got to be early favorites with their tourney experience and success, but as we've seen with Bellator so far, a lot can happen in a three month stretch. This should be an entertaining tournament field, and these fights should be a good start to this tournament in season four.
