A lightweight bout between Nik Lentz and Waylon Lowe is coming to UFC Fight Night 24 in Seattle this March, according to a report from MMADieHards.com.

Lentz brings a very successful record into his sixth UFC fight, with a 20-3-2 mark over his 25-fight career. But despite a 12 fight unbeaten streak that includes a 4-0-1 mark in the Octagon, Lentz hasn't won himself many fans with a couple of lackluster fights, including a controversial split decision in his last fight against Tyson Griffin.

Lowe has picked up two straight wins after a loss to Melvin Guillard in his UFC debut. The 30-year-old is going for his 11th career win in this bout.

UFC Fight Night 24 takes place from the KeyArena in Seattle, Wash. on March 26, headlined by the light heavyweight bout between Tito Ortiz and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

Penick's Analysis: This fight is coming to the preliminary card despite both fighters having good marks in the organization. Lentz is going to be relegated to unaired bouts until he starts winning fights in more entertaining fashion. He's a good fighter, and is capable of winning a lot of fights, as has been seen over the last several years, but uneventful fights like the one he had with Andre Winner don't sit well with UFC officials, and right now unless he turns it up he'll likely be at risk of getting cut as soon as he loses a fight.
