This month's UFC Fight Night 24 card has taken a couple of hits with injuries to Duane "Bang" Ludwig and Dennis Hallman, according to separate reports from MMAJunkie.com.

Ludwig suffered an injury to his sternum in training that has taken him out of his fight with Amir Sadollah on the card, which airs live on Spike TV from Seattle, Wash.

In Ludwig's place steps Ultimate Fighter season nine winner James Wilks. It marks yet another TUF winner vs. TUF winner fight, as Sadollah won season seven of the reality show.

Hallman, meanwhile, suffered a knee injury in training that has forced him out of the event and a bout with T.J. Waldburger. However, unlike the Sadollah fight, no replacement has yet been found for Hallman.

UFC Fight Night 24 is headlined by a light heavyweight bout between Phil Davis and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

Penick's Analysis: I'm sure they'll find a decent replacement for Hallman, and actually Wilks vs. Sadollah is a really good fight. Two Ultimate Fighter winners squaring off is always a good move for the UFC, and though it's not a fight for contention of any sort, it should be an entertaining scrap. As always, the injuries are really unfortunate, but the UFC typically finds ways to find replacements and make good moves on that front.
