Sportsnet is the leading high-definition live event station in Canada, and will play host to all of the UFC's live content, including preliminary card specials and Fight Night events; it will also be the home of The Ultimate Fighter, the next season of which begins airing on March 30.
The station will also air the UFC's non-pay-per-view overseas events, as well as other content across a number of platforms.
"This deal cements our commitment to bring fans the best UFC coverage in Canada," said Scott Moore, president of Rogers Broadcasting, on Monday. "Sportsnet is excited about this partnership with the UFC as the sport continues to rapidly grow in this country and beyond."
"We're excited to announce a new deal with Rogers Sportsnet that will put the UFC in millions of homes in Canada," said UFC President Dana White. "Canada is an amazing market for this sport and we look forward to bringing the fans more UFC programming. We're happy to have a strong television partner in Canada like Rogers Sportsnet."

Penick's Analysis: This is a strong deal for the UFC in Canada, and it's the type of thing they continue to hope to eventually land in the U.S. as well as far as coverage and reach is concerned. But for fans in Canada, they've got a set station to tune in for UFC events going forward.
