TUF 12's Alex "Bruce Leroy" Caceres dropping to bantamweight, meets Cole Escovedo at UFC on Fox 1

Following his second straight submission loss in the Octagon, Alex "Bruce Leroy" Caceres is dropping to the bantamweight division for one last shot in the UFC. The organization announced on Wednesday that Caceres will take on Cole Escovedo on Nov. 12 on the UFC on Fox 1 card in Anaheim, Calif.

Caceres has dropped fights to Mackens Semerzier and Jim Hettes since entering the organization through the Ultimate Fighter's 12th season last fall. Escovedo has lost both of his appearances in the UFC as well, dropping a decision to Renan Barao before being finished by Takeya Mizugaki last month at UFC 135. The loser of this bout is likely to find themselves out of their respective UFC contract.
