UFC on Versus 6 Prelim Results: Washington, D.C.'s Mike Easton takes out late replacement Byron Bloodworth in second round

In front of a very vocal hometown crowd in Washington, D.C. on Saturday night, Lloyd Irvin product Mike Easton made not only a successful UFC debut, but an impressive return to action after almost two full years out of the cage.

Taking on late replacement Byron Bloodworth, Easton picked up a violent finish after a slow start at UFC on Versus 6. He won an uneventful first round, but in the second took control of the fight, and as time wore down he dropped Bloodworth with a couple of vicious knees to the body in the clinch.

After knocking him down, Easton immediately pounced and landed a few strikes on the ground to stop the fight. The win was the eleventh of his career, and sixth straight dating back to 2008.
