A light heavyweight bout between Stephan Bonnar and Karlos Vemola is coming this summer.

Bonnar revealed the fight on Twitter, and his MMA Live colleague Jon Anik revealed that the fight will take place at UFC on Versus 5 in August. The location and venue for the August 14 event have not yet been officially revealed, but the card is expected to take place from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wis., the UFC's first ever event in the state.

Vemola returns to action for the first time since last November's UFC 122 event in Germany. He was initially slated to return in March, but an injury in training forced him out of his bout with Luiz Cane at UFC 128. The 8-1 fighter is 1-1 in the UFC after knocking out Seth Petruzelli at UFC 122 following a loss to Jon Madsen at heavyweight in his UFC debut last July.

Bonnar is coming off of two straight wins into this fight. After a three fight losing streak in 2009 and 2010, Bonnar defeated Krzysztof Soszynski at UFC 116 by TKO and followed that up with a decision win over Igor Pokrajac at The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale in December.

Penick's Analysis: This is a good fight in this division, and a big opportunity for Vemola. Bonnar looked good in his last two fights, but Vemola was a beast in that fight in November against Petruzelli, and is a very dangerous opponent for "The American Psycho." It should make for a very good fight, especially on a free card.

UPDATE: The UFC has now officially announced the fight for the UFC on Versus 5 event.
