QUOTABLES: Scott Coker says he's working "really hard" to make Fedor vs. Henderson happen this July

"That fight [between Dan Henderson and Fedor Emelianenko] is not confirmed, it's not by any means. I would say let's be cautious on how we frame that up. If that's the $25 million dollar question, I would say until it's finished, it's never done. You know how many things can possibly go wrong in trying to get that fight together. We're doing our best, but the devil's in the details. When you have a fight of that quality at that catchweight, it's like I said, the details are always the challenges in that. How could anybody not want to see that fight? You've got Dan who's just going to bring it, and you've got Fedor who's just going to bring it. I'm working really hard to try to make that happen."

-Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker talks to MMAWeekly.com and tries to settle down talk of Dan Henderson vs. Fedor Emelianenko this July until it is fully signed and negotiated.

Penick's Analysis: The MMAWeekly report states that they are having difficulties in setting the weight, as it's Henderson wanting a simple heavyweight bout while Fedor's camp is pushing for a 220 lb. catchweight. It's incredible that there continues to be a series of difficulties in getting a fight together with Fedor, but we should just be used to it by now. This time, Zuffa's involvement in the proceedings likely brings a lot of other complications, and there are probably things that need to be worked out with M-1 with this new setup for Strikeforce. Hopefully they can do everything they need to in order to get this fight together, as it's the one that makes the most sense for both fighters inside of Strikeforce right now.
