Featherweight Yuri Alcantara will meet fellow promotional newcomer Antonio Carvalho at UFC 134, officials today announced. Alcantara had been rumored for a fight with Mackens Semerzier, but the fighter's manager then told MMAjunkie.com that the bout wasn't "a reality."
The bout likely will be part of the preliminary card of UFC 134, which takes place Aug. 27 at HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro. The pay-per-view headliner pits middleweight champion Anderson Silva against Yushin Okami.
